I began my career with Chicago Title 20 years ago. As a Sales Executive, I specialize in empowering my clients to seize new business opportunities and maximize profitability. My approach begins with attentive listening and probing questions such as ”what are your vision and goals?“ or ”what is your major pain point?” Together we formulate a strategic plan aimed at boosting productivity and increasing revenue.

With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Kala has sold thousands of homes, led contracts with FNMA, Freddie Mac, and HUD, and built a technology company that’s on its way to serving millions of homeowners. Known for her bold ideas, Kala combines a deep knowledge of consumer psychology with practical strategies, empowering agents to adapt, thrive, and seize opportunities in any market. As a passionate leader and industry disruptor, Kala believes the future of real estate lies at the intersection of technology, transparency, and consumer trust.

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, as the oldest of four siblings (two brothers and a sister). From a young age, I was highly competitive, which naturally led my parents to enroll me in sports. I played soccer and basketball until midway through high school, and that competitive spirit still drives me today. I love attending sports games and following my favorite teams: the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team. I have a sweet rednose Staffordshire Bull Terrier whose name is Franny, and currently live in East Mesa.

After graduating from high school, I realized my passion for connecting with people and serving others. With that in mind, I decided to embarked on a journey overseas. I volunteered with a non-profit organization in Australia that trains young people and provides medical care to remote villages in Papua New Guinea via a medical ship. During my time there, I developed leadership, interpersonal, and professional skills, all while fulfilling my desire to make a meaningful impact on others' lives.

When I returned to the U.S. in 2016, I focused on building a strong community and discovered a newfound passion for real estate and finance. In 2018, I realized that my love for people, real estate, and finances could merge seamlessly in the mortgage industry, and I’ve been thriving in this field ever since.

I truly love what I do and consider it an honor to help others navigate the complexities of mortgage loans—whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor. Born in New Mexico but raised all over the world, I’ve always had a love for adventure and exploration. My parents sparked this passion for travel early on, and it’s something I’ve carried into adulthood. During my college years, I was the go-to road trip partner for friends who wanted to get out and see more of the world. Today, my husband and I are instilling that same sense of adventure in our children, whether it’s a quick day trip here in Arizona or a journey to a new destination.

My husband and I have been happily married for nearly 25 years. We’re proud parents of two amazing children, grandparents to two charming granddaughters, and we adore our grand-puppy. My professional journey has always been driven by a passion for working with people. After college, I built a foundation in sales, working in industries ranging from direct sales to Enterprise Rent-a-Car. In 2003, I transitioned into education, where I spent 17 years as both a teacher and an administrator, building meaningful relationships with colleagues, students, and their families. In 2019, I took an exciting leap into the mortgage industry, joining my sister in a field where I could combine my love for educating others with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. Guiding clients through the home-buying journey has been incredibly rewarding. Each client and partner I’ve had the privilege of working with has contributed to my growth, and I’m deeply grateful for those connections.

Outside of the office, you'll find me learning some new software, building a setlist for my next gig, or taking Ares (my German Shepherd) out for a weekend camping trip with friends.
